My First Solo Exhibition - Wildlife Under the Irish Sun

I am delighted to share that my very first solo exhibition, Wildlife Under the Irish Sun, was a wonderful success. The entire experience was truly special.

The opening night at The Venue Ratoath was filled with energy and excitement, with a warm crowd of local people, fellow artists and friends coming together to celebrate. I was deeply touched by the support and by the many positive comments I received about my work throughout the exhibition.

One of the most memorable moments for me was giving my opening speech, where I shared what this project means to me.

I’m so grateful to The Venue Ratoath for hosting this event, Trish and the team have been wonderful in helping curate the exhibition. I’m also deeply thankful to Meath County Council and Creative Ireland for supporting this project, to my talented photographer Lauren Hamilton, and to all that attended it.

I moved from Italy to Ireland 18 years ago, and its wildlife quickly stole my heart; foxes, hares, badgers, squirrels, just to name a few. This year’s golden sunlight and clear skies made me stop and appreciate that beauty even more.

Wildlife is more than decoration, it’s the heartbeat of the land. Each creature has a role: the fox keeps balance, the hare carries the spirit of the fields, the birds spread life from branch to branch. Protecting them means protecting Ireland’s heritage, and the quiet magic still in our world.

This exhibition was my way of honouring them.

With this chapter complete, I am now ready to work on the next. I am looking forward to my new adventure at Art Source 2025, and I will also have exciting news to share soon for 2026.
